Smith Construction worked closely with Reigate Grammar School to design the exact facility they wished for. The new hockey pitch was constructed next to an existing hockey pitch and to utilise the space in-between, both pitches were connected with a 6m macadam divider, to create a multi-use spectator and warm up area.

The large spectator/warm up area is a fantastic addition to the pitch. It has allowed Reigate Grammar School to play multiple matches, with plenty of capacity for spectators. It provides space for other teams to warm up, and game switches enabling team members to move freely. It’s innovative design ideas like this, which set Smith Construction apart from our competitors.
